How to register and signing in? To register a new Buyer account on Sketchuplance.com: 1. Click the Register tab on horizontal menu. 2. Complete the required information in the Signup form. 3. After filling in the form, click the Submit button. ** Note: Please make sure you have read and agreed with our Terms of Use. How to post a project on SketchUpLance? Follow steps below to post a project on SketchUpLance: 1. Sign in your Buyer account ** Note: You could add different options to your project for free including Hide bidding, Sealed-bidding, Private, Location, Non-public, Gold Member ** Glossary: * Hide bidding: All information on bids are kept hidden from public view. This is a good option for Buyers to get a good Freelancer for their project. Freelancers can see their own bid only so they have to give you good price and time base on their experiences. * Private: Only Freelancers who receive invitation from by the owner of project (the Buyer) can bid. * Location: Only Freelancers whose locations are listed in the project by the project owner (the Buyer) can bid. * Non-public: Buyer can protect his project information off Search Engine Spiders so that members of SketchUpLance can view the type of project only. How much does this cost for Buyers? Posting a standard project is $5 for Buyers. If you want to post a Featured Project, you have to pay a fee of $19. How much does this cost for Freelancers? There is no signup fee and no monthly fee, but you are paying a commission on each project you win a bid on. The commission is 10% of your bid (minimum $5). You will not have to pay this commission if you register Gold Member. What is a Gold Member? Gold Members are marked with Gold Members sign. As a Gold Member, you pay only monthly fee of $25, no commissions on projects completed. Gold members are usually more reliable since they have a long term commitment with SketchupLance . Minimum Gold member subscription is 3 months, subscribe for year and save 34% or $ 101 What is a featured project? How to use the Escrow Payment? Payment and work are secured for both Buyer and Freelancer. SketchUpLance provides users with escrow payment options to help projects get completed smoothly. Buyers can set aside a specific amount of money into an escrow account on SketchUpLance , for a specific Freelancer. Both users can then view the payment in the escrow account, but only the Buyer can complete the payment from the escrow account to the Freelancer. The Freelancer is the only person (other than SketchUpLance supervisor ) who can cancel this escrow payment. This gives each party half of the control over the money in the escrow account. If the project gets completed the Buyer can transfer the money from the escrow account to the Freelancer. If the project is canceled amicably, the Freelancer can deny the escrow payment and the money will return to the Buyer's account. If there are any disputes over a project the SketchUpLance supervisor must be contacted before any money can be moved from the escrow account. SketchUpLance encourages its users to send and receive money with the escrow system because it's a great way to make sure everyone gets what they want from a project. To manage your escrow payments, just login to your account. Buyer must have sufficient funds in account before transferring funds into Escrow account. |
